What he wanted to say - and what I fully agree with - is that none of you is being yourselves wrong. It is entirely fine for you to be thin; it is entirely fine for your partner to align in a different place on the asexual spectrum, or disidentify with the whole thing should that be the case for ym. These pressures placed on us are ridiculous as we are not and never will be direct implants from the source material.
Which... is rather funny for us, in turn, as we tend to be very much "as expected." But that is our burden to bear, not yours. You have the right to exist as you are.
